嘉宾介绍

夏淳（主持人）

夏淳博士是硅谷基金TSVC的联合创始合伙人，也是成功的连续创业者。他曾创办三家科技公司，研发了世界最早的个性化营销系统和国际领先的边缘容器技术，奠定了他在技术创新领域的领导地位。作为IT行业巨头Sun Microsystems的首席架构师，他是早期云计算技术的奠基者之一。

在投资领域，夏淳博士专注于云计算、芯片、人工智能、智能制造等硬科技领域，同时在创意设计和跨文化研究上也有深厚造诣。他是清华企业家协会（TEEC）的创始会员之一，曾任北美分会首任主席，并长期担任清华大学思源计划导师和创业孵化项目导师。他还发起公益基金TSVC Giving Fund。

学术上，夏淳博士是清华大学电子工程学士及计算机硕士，并在美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校（UIUC）取得计算机博士学位。

TSVC（原名TEEC Angel Fund）成立于2010年，是硅谷首家由大陆华人创立的种子基金，并以投资Zoom、Ginkgo Bioworks、Carta等独角兽公司而闻名。TSVC已在200多个种子轮投资中收获5家IPO和10个独角兽，种子轮独角兽命中率位列榜首。投资团队由硅谷顶尖投资人、成功企业家和行业领军人物组成，专注于硬科技、数据经济、数字健康等领域，持续开创全新赛道并挖掘独角兽种子。

Dr. Chun Xia is a co-founding partner of TSVC, a Silicon Valley-based fund, and a successful serial entrepreneur. He has founded three technology companies, developing one of the world’s earliest personalized marketing systems and pioneering edge container technology, establishing his leadership in technological innovation. As the Chief Architect at Sun Microsystems, he was one of the early pioneers of cloud computing technology.

In the investment field, Dr. Xia focuses on deep-tech areas such as cloud computing, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and smart manufacturing, while also having deep expertise in creative design and cross-cultural studies. He is a founding member of the Tsinghua Entrepreneurs Association (TEEC), served as the first chairman of its North America chapter, and has long been a mentor for Tsinghua University’s Siyuan Program and startup incubation projects. He also initiated the TSVC Giving Fund for philanthropic efforts.

Academically, Dr. Xia holds a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering and a master's degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

Founded in 2010, TSVC (formerly TEEC Angel Fund) was the first seed fund established in Silicon Valley by Chinese entrepreneurs from mainland China. It gained prominence by investing in unicorn companies such as Zoom, Ginkgo Bioworks, and Carta. TSVC has achieved five IPOs and invested in ten unicorns across more than 200 seed-stage deals, ranking among the top funds for seed-stage unicorn success rates. The investment team comprises leading Silicon Valley investors, successful entrepreneurs, and industry pioneers, with a focus on deep technology, the data economy, and digital health, continuously creating new market opportunities and identifying unicorn startups.

刘宇新

刘宇新（Zoe）在视频压缩和流媒体技术领域深耕25年，拥有清华大学自动化系本硕博学位及普渡大学博士学位。她曾在贝尔实验室、诺基亚研究中心、惠普实验室、苹果和谷歌工作，参与Apple FaceTime、Google Glass视频通话等技术的研发。作为AV1编码标准的核心贡献者，她在Google I/O 2018大会上首次向全球介绍AV1，该标准已被全球多家企业采用。

2018年，刘宇新联合创立Visionular（微帧科技）并担任CEO，领导开发智能视频压缩、处理与理解软件及云服务产品。公司已服务150多家企业客户，在全球拥有100多名全职员工，总部位于硅谷，并在纽约、伦敦、班加罗尔、杭州及北京设有分部。Visionular已实现盈利并持续增长。

刘宇新已发表近50篇学术论文，在国际行业会议上发表30余场演讲，并作为合著者在IEEE《Proceedings of the IEEE》（2022年1月）发表AI驱动视频压缩的论文。2024年10月，她在IEEE 26届MMSP学术会议上作为唯一一位工业界代表做主题演讲。

Yuxin Liu (Zoe) has 25+ years of experience in video compression and streaming technologies. She holds BE/ME/PhD degrees from the Department of Automation at Tsinghua University, as well as a PhD from School of ECE at Purdue University. Throughout her career, she has worked at Bell Labs, Nokia Research Center, HP Labs, Apple, and Google, contributing to the development of core technologies such as Apple FaceTime and Google Glass Video Call. As a key contributor to the AV1 video coding standard, she introduced AV1 to the global developers at Google I/O 2018. The standard has since been adopted by numerous companies worldwide.

In 2018, Zoe co-founded Visionular and currently serves as its CEO. She leads the development of AI-driven video compression, processing, understanding, and streaming software and cloud services. Visionular has served over 150 enterprise customers and employs 100+ FTEs globally. Headquartered in Silicon Valley, the company also has offices in New York, London, Bangalore, Hangzhou, and Beijing. Visionular is profitable and continues to see steady growth in both revenue and profitability.

Zoe has published nearly 50 peer-reviewed academic papers and delivered over 30 talks at major industry conferences. She co-authored a paper on AI-powered video compression, published in the prestigious IEEE Magazine, Proceedings of the IEEE, in January 2022. In October 2024, she served as the sole industry keynote speaker at the 26th IEEE MMSP Conference.

李峻

李峻是 Wisemont Capital 的创始合伙人，这是一家总部位于硅谷的风险投资公司，专注于投资人工智能（AI）、SaaS 和自动化领域的早期科技创业公司。她的职业生涯始于微软公司的软件开发和项目管理，之后作为 Beyondsoft（博彦科技）的高级副总裁，领导建立了国际团队，并成功推动公司业务扩展至多个大洲。博彦科技于2012年成功上市。

Jun Li is the Founder and General Partner of WisemontCapital, a Silicon Valley–based venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology startups in AI, SaaS, and automation. She began her career as a software developer and program manager before rising to Senior Vice President at Beyondsoft, a global leader in software consulting and outsourcing, where she led international teams and expanded operations across multiple continents.

With extensive, hands-on industry experience, Jun has a deep understanding of the challenges startup founders face—enabling her to provide both strategic guidance and operational support. Her investment portfolio includes high-growth companies such as WeRide.ai (Nasdaq: WRD), Stellar Cyber, Foundries.io (acquired by Qualcomm), NeuVector (acquired by SUSZ), Cequence.ai, TensorOpera, Kaamel, Zingbox (acquired by Palo Alto Networks), Scaleflux, Hexaflake, VentiTech, LiveX, HamsaPay, TrustedKey (acquired by Workday), and Percept.ai(acquired by Atlassian), among others.

A former board member and global chairwoman of the Tsinghua Entrepreneur and Executive Club, Jun has also served as a coach for the Lighthouse program, supporting young Chinese American leaders. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, painting, and writing.

姚辉

姚辉是国际教育科技公司、语言在线学习平台LingoAce的创始人兼首席执行官。LingoAce致力于通过沉浸式体验革新青少儿语言学习方式，以中文为起点培养未来的全球公民。姚辉于清华大学取得物理工程学士学位、管理科学与工程硕士学位，在科技领域拥有超过15年的经验，此前曾在IBM、Oracle和Salesforce等公司亚太区担任要职。

姚辉创立LingoAce的初衷是帮助自己的儿子学习中文，他发现大多数传统教学已不能满足现今数字化环境中成长的孩子，希望能以科技之力，为现代青少儿带来更具沉浸感、更愉悦的语言学习体验。迄今为止，已有来自100 多个国家及地区的学员与LingoAce快乐学中文，累计授课超过 2000 万课时。

LingoAce汇集了课程教研专家、专业认证教师，以及国际水准的多媒体、动画和游戏化技术的研发团队，拥有超过 5000 名经《国际中文教师证书》认证并接受过跨学科教学培训的教师。

Hugh Yao is the founder and CEO of the leading online language learning platform, LingoAce. LingoAce strives to reimagine language learning with immersive experiences to nurture confident, future global citizens, starting with Chinese. Hugh received his Master’s in Management and Bachelor’s in Engineering Physics from Tsinghua University. He has over 15 years of experience in the technology sector and was previously in leadership roles with IBM, Oracle and Salesforce across the Asia Pacific region.

Hugh founded LingoAce to help his son learn Chinese. He found most traditional teaching unsuitable for today’s digital youth and aims to instill a passion for learning Chinese in students through innovative technology. To date, he has built a tech-enabled, immersive and interactive language platform that is enjoyed by learners from over 100 countries with 20 million classes taught. Through its proprietary platform, Hugh has brought together curriculum experts, certified teachers, and creators of world-class multimedia, animation and gamification technology.

LingoAce now has a select pool of over 5,000 teachers with international CTCSOL accreditation and trained in interdisciplinary teaching.

LingoAce is headquartered in Singapore with regional offices in Beijing,Chengdu, Bangkok, Jakarta and San Mateo, California.It also has an educational research centre in Wuhan. To date, LingoAce has received the LinkedIn Top Start-ups 2022, GSV 150 recognition, and the SME100 Award 2019 for Fast Moving Companies.

孙志娟

孙志娟（Ruby）在医药行业有三十年的相关经历，包括北京大学基础医学院九年学习和工作、清华大学经管学院两年IMBA项目，以及十余年在数家在华跨国药企包括强生等的商业部门的工作生涯。这些经历帮助Ruby建立了基本的认知和技能，涵盖了临床医疗、基础科研、新药上市、药品销售和跨境交易（license in & out， M&A）等。

2018年，孙志娟在美国新泽西联合一支多族裔的技术团队共同创立了NanoTech Pharma Inc.，专注于纳米药物技术平台创新和纳米药物研发，并于2023年落地深圳拓展中国运营。目前，公司中美两个实验室共有全职员工17名，包括11名博士。公司多条药物管线研发进展中，GMP中试车间在建，将支持公司产品在2025年底从临床前走向临床阶段。公司已与数家中美企业合作，转让自有在研产品的市场权益，或者利用技术平台共同开发核酸新药。

孙志娟作为一名医药行业的BD老兵，在国际医药市场有扎实的新药新技术交易经验，并且在创业的过程中，带领团队克服困难在中美之间运营。在最挑战的股权融资方面，先后为公司获得12m 美元的资金，目前正在融资15-20m美元，期待数月内完成。

Zhijuan Sun (Ruby)

Zhijuan Sun (Ruby) brings 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 9 years of academic training and research at Peking University Health Science Center, 2-year International MBA program at Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, and over a decade in commercial roles at multinational pharmaceutical companies in China (including Johnson & Johnson). This journey has equipped Ruby with comprehensive expertise spanning clinical therapeutics, basic medical research, new drug launches, pharmaceutical sales, and cross-border transactions (license in/out, M&A).

In 2018, Ruby co-founded NanoTech Pharma Inc. in New Jersey, USA, with a multi-ethnic technical team dedicated to nano-medicine technology platform innovation and nanodrug R&D. The company established its Shenzhen operations in 2023. Currently, the company has 17 full-time employees, including 11 PhD holders, in its US and China labs. It has multiple drug pipelines under pre-clinical development and meanwhile a GMP pilot plant under construction (scheduled for 2025 clinical-stage transition). It has built strategic partnerships with several US and China partners for market license or nucleic acid drug co-development.

As a BD veteran, Ruby possesses proven expertise in global transactions and has successfully navigated cross-border operations between China and the US. For the fund raising, which is the most challenging part of a startup, Ruby has secured about $12 million equity funds and is currently pushing forward a $15-20 million funding round, expected to close within months.
